Adding, archiving, and removing clients
In Psychology Tools, you can manage your clients from the Clients page. This includes adding new clients, archiving clients you are no longer working with, and permanently deleting clients when needed.
- Add a client when you want to share resources with them.
- Archive a client when you want to keep their records but stop sharing resources.
- Delete a client when you want to permanently remove them from your account.
How to add a client
- Go to the Clients page.
- Click Add client.
- Enter the client's name and email address.
- Click Add client.
The client will receive an email invitation to create an account on the Psychology Tools platform.
If needed, you can resend the invitation from the Clients page.
How to archive a client
Archiving is useful when you are no longer actively working with a client but want to retain their records. Archived clients can still view completed resources, but cannot access new or shared materials.
- Go to the Clients page.
- Make sure you are viewing your Active clients.
- Find the client you want to archive.
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to their name.
- Select Archive.
How to reactivate an archived client
- Go to the Clients page.
- Switch to view your Archived clients.
- Find the client you want to reactivate.
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to their name.
- Select Reactivate.
How to remove a client
- Go to the Clients page.
- Find the client you want to remove.
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to their name.
- Select Delete.
- Complete the confirmation step.
Deleting a client is permanent and cannot be undone.
